Natalie Rompotis
Natalie Rompotis is a mother of two young children, a lawyer and an artist based in Melbourne, Australia.
Her love of illustrating began as a child, and despite working as a commercial lawyer and litigator for a number of years in both private practice and in-house, she has now returned to her original passion.
Her work is inspired by the magical world of fashion and classic cinema with a nostalgic European aesthetic. An idyllic childhood living in Greece, a sense of Hellenism and ten years of French language and culture study permeate her creations.
She has illustrated for numerous private and commercial clients, including live illustrating for Qatari royalty in Doha, and counts Reese Witherspoon and Maison Valentino as fans of her work. Her work can be seen on the official website of Beyoncé and has been published in the New York Times, Vogue Australia, Harper's BAZAAR (Australia and Mexico & Latin America) and ELLE (US). She has been named by both Harper's BAZAAR Australia and Huffington Post as one of the top 12 Australian Fashion Illustrators.
She was named Official Illustrator for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia celebrating 20 years, with her illustrations and calligraphy appearing across the MBFWA social media channels, websites (global and local) and in print.
Other clients include: MaxMara, Faber-Castell, Myer, Fairfax & Roberts, The Intersection Paddington, Alberta Ferretti, L'Oréal Professionel, Australian Turf Club, Victoria Racing Club, Dermalogica, Westfield & Crown Resorts.
